About the Role
We are currently seeking a Software Java Engineer for our SaaS Cloud-based backend. The role will focus on developing new functionalities and looking at scalability, performance, and system throughput. The successful candidate will be joining our international team, mainly based in Dubai.

Key responsibilities
- Attend regular meetings with the development team to discuss ideas and challenges.
- Adopt an open, collaborative approach, be receptive to feedback, and offer suggestions.
- Use your analytical skills to troubleshoot issues and make recommendations.
- Collaborate with the internal team to ensure successful project delivery.
- Troubleshoot front-end software issues and debug application code.
- Document application changes and develop updates.
- Collaborate with other engineers to implement operational solutions while adhering to industry best practices.
Skills and competencies

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Exceptional interpersonal skills with both internal/external stakeholders and within the team.

Experience in Java (3+ years), SpringBoot, JPA (JPA2, Hibernate), JUnit, JSON, API development and integration.

Familiarity with Agile methodology.

Experience with microservices and cloud technologies.

Good knowledge of Relational Databases (MySQL).

Ability to work dynamically and reuse Components and Services.

Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
What would be good to have

AWS developer certification.

Knowledge of clean code strategy.
- Knowledge of NoSQL (DynamoDB) datastores.

Strong troubleshooting mindset, with proven experience solving critical software issues.
